The alternative to that is iirc a Windows 98 Startup Disk had loads of
drivers it tried to load for SCSI CD drive access - try
http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm
and choose the disk image called
Windows 98 SE OEM.
You should be able to create a bootable CD from that.

I *think* Norton Ghost includes some of the drivers you're after. The usual
way to make a Ghost boot CD is to make a floppy first, then copy to CD
&
make bootable. Do you have another machine with a floppy drive and CD
writer
you could use?
