If its true the original guy connected cbus pir's directly into
comfort he
must have been a complete monkey, not surprised he went bust. It also seems
a very over specc'ed system - unless the house is the size of a palace 144
lighting channels seems extreme.

If they have star wired all the PIR's (back to comfort) there may be
network
length issues too - not to mention the fact that you have to pay for cgate
beyond 2 networks to get it programmed.

The bit I underestimated about our install is the time it takes to get the
system working right - we are 90% there after 6 months. Still a few more
bits of logic to go - although extremely pleased with the results.

A PAC unit might be advisable to help with the automation side of things.
