MCE for me too now.  I gave up on the free MediaPortal because it's
slow
and still too buggy.

But why do all these solutions insist on making a database of your media
collection instead of giving a simple folder based interface?  How can
that ever be better when your collection grows to more than just a
handful of items?

How am I supposed to find a movie when there are 100+ Tom & Jerry
cartoons mixed in among them?  A list of song titles is no use at all
when displayed alphabetically  instead of by album and artist.  A folder
view is so simple - so why don't they provide it, even as an option?
