Hi Nigel,
Haven't even looked at the PIR's yet. I was going to use the CBus
PIR's - but they are too expensive. Currently I have 30 DS18S20. I
poll every 5 mins. It takes a second per sensor. All of these are on a
single Cat6 cable. Its working reliably.
Sorry did not make clear, but am not using yet, but the next stage is
too use the hub and then have 3 branches. Thanks for heads up on
broadcast
Its all C code on linux, based around the 'select' loop!!
