Hi,

It doesn't work because it wont physically let you insert 2 plugs at the
same time. Push one in and the other hole gets covered by a red tab (bit
like live and neutral on a normal plug).

I think electrically you should not use 120 and 240 like that - something
to do with shorting between them.

I would ideally like one plug into two sockets or something.

As Neil stated, it might work

I think the dual voltage sockets are actually one isolating transformer
with
a center tap

You'd need to check of the total rating of the transformer in the socket,
which could be why it doesn't work :S

A neater option may be to change the shaver socket for a double one

Hi All,

I'm asking this on ukha because ....... um um ..... until I've done it I
don't get to do any more ha. Aha almost on topic then!!!

We want to plug our toothbrush charger and my shaver into the same shaver
socket but can only do one at a time at teh moment. Other than bastardising
the two wires by chopping off the plugs and joining / crimping /
heatshrinking them together into onw plug are there any other options that
don't involve wire cutters? I cannot seem to find a 2-to-1 adapter
anywhere.
