Depends if they mind a bit of programming or not - I wrote a library for
SMS apps that talks to a Nokia (should work with most SMS phones with a
serial modem builtin actually) I used it in our helpdesk system to send
SMS alerts to customers when their support ticket was updated.

I'm working with that at the moment, trying to turn it into a .net
service (it's all VB6 at the moment) but I'm happy to pass on the code.
