Garmin Quest vs. TomTom Go

Hi all,

While on holiday recently, I borrowed a car and Garmin Quest from a
friend (yes, we should all have such friends).

I found it, well, terribly useful most of the time, but it
occassionally got confused on complex junctions, and I did end up
taking a wrong exit when a road went three ways rather than two.

Anyone got experience of both this, and the TomTom Go, to tell me
whether the TomTom's directions are clearer?

I liked the way that the Quest just plugged into a cigar lighter, and
had the speaker built into that unit, so you got audio without any
fiddling with connections into the stereo. How does the TomTom's audio
work?

Any other comments on the differences between the two??? (And, if
TomTom is the answer, which model?)

M.
