Wow, you sound like a Newcastle fan. It's a highly negative viewpoint
regardless of whether=20
the argument is sound. I would argue that an extra 100 years buys a hell of
a lot of time to deal with the effects=20
that Human arrogance has on our planet.=20

It's all a pointless argument anyway - even if the world cut fossil fuel=20
usage by 50% (an improbbable figure), we'd just burn through it all in=20
200 years instead of 100. One way or the other its all going into the=20
air in the end. Better to spend the cash on dealing with the effects of=20
global warming (or cooling - who knows for sure?) rather than trying to=20
stop it.
Anyway, the sooner it's all gone, the sooner we'll be rid of trucks and=20
buses spewing choking fumes all over the place.
