Maybe one of those velcro "buttons" would keep the top of the
unit
against the wall if you could sort out a true vertical mount? I quite
like the suggestion on page 1 of that thread to rout out a wooden block.
You could then sink that into the wall. Or maybe use a magnetic catch
(or would that just confuse the controller??)

BTW, although I don't have the Sonos kit, if anyone wants to let me have
a loooooong lend of some, I'll see what I can come up with for the flush
wall mount :-)
