RE: [OT] : Any advice on a decent integrated dishwasher ?

Don't know if this helps any Marcus, but we have been running the cheapest
=
imaginable dishwasher for 5+ years now with no problems whatsoever. (It
was=
a wedding pressie, so we didn't choose it)...
=20
It's one of Comets own-brand "Proline" models, and I think it was
=A3199 in=
1998 (we didn't get round to plumbing it in for 2 years after we got it!).=
but it has been in constant use since 2000, running on average 2-3 times p=
er week, and we *always* run it on the longest/strongest wash cycle.
=20
So far we've had no problems with it at all, except for the odd occasion
wh=
en it has not washed everything very well. - I put this down to us
probably=
overloading it (SWMBO is terrible for this!), and/or not keeping the salt =
reservoir topped up properly (we're both pretty lax at that kind of
thing..=
.)
=20
I keep expecting it to give up the ghost any time, but so far it's still
go=
ing strong...

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] : Any advice on a decent integrated dishwasher ?

Our cr*ppy Baumatic BDW8 dishwasher after numerous floods etc has now
decided that it can't keep its door shut ! I have replaced the catch
but it still falls open half way through the wash (although at least
I can now close the door while I'm not using it!)
Anyway the door was leaking steam and I can't figure out why.. although
it may well be related to the catch not holding it shut properly.
So I'm cutting my losses and junking it (2years!)

Anyone have any recommendations for a dishwasher ;

60cm width
fully integrated
WaterStop/antiflood (since you step down into our kitchen)
AAA
concealed element (sick of the kids melting things by throwing them in!)
70degree wash option
Reasonably quite (50db or less)
*RELIABLE*

cheaper the better.. but we have about =A3450 from some overtime my wife d=
id.

TIA

Marcus
