you have to run a power cable, can't you run an Ethernet cable too? Or
use power over ethernet? (either commercial or home brew). But otherwise
yes, power the camera and pick up the images over WiFi.

The disadvantage that both these cameras suffer is lack of night-time
illumination. When I started to look at this a while ago I decided that
a day/night camera was probably a better option - colour pictures during
the day and B&W at night, coupled with an IR light source. I guess it
depends on your final set-up and how good the lighting is to determine
whether you need night-vision also.
