Hi,

=20

I know some of you are pretty well into security so hopefully you can help.

=20

Following a spate of small crimes we are investigating a solution whereby
w=
e
can record intrusions on to our property.

=20

Basically we want a cheap camera which will connect IP to a PC which will
record the images upon motion detection.=20

Having a good field of view is important rather than having Pan and tilt.
I=
t
basically needs to cover our driveway.

We do have a security light, so I guess if we mounted it near that we
wouldn=92t need =91night vision=92 ?

We will build our own weather resistant housing.

=20

I found something like this=20

HYPERLINK
"http://www.y3kvision.com/acatalog/info_XIP101.html"http://www.y3kvision.co=
m
/acatalog/info_XIP101.html

=20

Is this likely to be any good ? What are the recommendations for people
that have done this before. ?

Also presumably I only need to apply power to the camera and then I should
be able to capture images to my pc ?

=20

Grateful of any help on this, as I am pretty green where this is
concerned.=
=20

=20

Many Thanks

=20

Dave
