A great tip (if you can afford it):
Get some Bose noise cancelling headphones (around $300 in the US from a
Bose shop). Made a HUGE difference on my last US trip (long weekend to
Beverly Hills)- and I actually got some sleep coming back! (normally a
night flight coming home).
I found the jet lag out was worse than coming home - awake around 5am every
morning!
