Re: [OT] Personal RF locator

This principle has been developed and applied at the Department of
Cybernetics and has been working for a number of years. The system uses
RFID chips embedded into a credit card sized card that are carried
around and readers are placed at strategic locations. Movement is
monitored and actions are triggered depending on which card is present.

Most of you will have heard about this through the media from Prof Kevin
Warwick. His 'implant' used this system, but instead of carrying a card,
his RF chip was placed under the skin.

There are a couple of people on the list who will be able to provide
more info.
