£25 sounds like a fair price.

I fitted one on the outside of a building when I was still a telephone
engineer (so at least 9 years ago). It is still on the outside of the
building as I drive past it everyday. I am surprised it stayed there as the
concrete pillar I fixed it to was soooo hard I could only drill about 20mm
into it.

It should be OK as long as it isnt continously drenched in wter as they are
designed to be fitted outside.

As Paul found out, proper Weatherphones are horrendously expensive.
Hazardous Area Phones cost even more!!
