The LWM1 micro module also responds to the Extended direct dim commands.

Pronto + IR543AH from Laser + Extended dimming is a great solution to
direct
dimming/scenes. Recently added a few LWM1 controlled table lamps to the
lounge. Wife loves being able to set all the sidelights to 50% (for
example)
witha single pronto button. Relatively easy to retrofit LWMs behind sockets
aswell.

LD11 also supports variable dimming with ramp rates of a few seconds,
30sec,
60sec and 300sec from full off to full on..

The 30/60/300 settings though are too long (IMO) to be useful.

The LD11 is capable of directly dimming to a particular level via X-10
extended command. The only infrared command centre capable of sending
extended commands at the moment is the IR543AH.
