The easiest way is to use counters and C-bus lighting group

=20

A simple example=20

Lighting group 200

On (255) Night mode On

Off (0) Night mode Off

=20

Counter 200 response=20

If counter 200=3D 0 then response Night mode off

Endif

If counter 200 =3D 255 then response Night mode on

Endif

=20

I tend not to use else with comfort

=20

To go the other way comfort to cbus I use trigger groups

=20

=20

Obviously you can use all the levels in between as well each of them
firing=
off a response but for clarity I would use each lighting group on cbus for=
specific things=20

i.e group 200 could be alarm status

so level

0=3Dunarmed

50=3Dday

100=3Dnight

255=3Daway

=20

Hope this helps=20

OK, I'm listening...

But can Homegate send Comfort keypad emulation requests to Comfort ? I=20
thought it was one-way communication....

Anyone here thought of , or tried, how to get your own touchscreen
system=20
work with Comfort (via the HomeSeer plugin).

As the CBUS Touchscreen is rather expensive, one possible route is one
of=20
the =A3120 8" touchscreens to a simple PC - and then use a simple
HomeSeer=
=20
built web page to send Comfort commands.

Ony thing I cant see is how you could use the web interface as a virtual=20
keypad. ie if youwant to sign in, you need to type in your 4 digit code=20
followed by # - so you'd need to send each code at a time.

Easy enough you say - but will the UCM be clever enough to know it's being=
=20

send a "keypad" signal rather than just a generic comms signal
down the=20
serial port.

Just scoping out wether this is plausable or not - if so, I'll get a=20
screen and fab up a surround.=20
