Just got a memo saying that this Wednesdays program will feature a house
with an iLight lighting system. ->

"iLight will feature on Channel 4's Grand Designs programme which is
scheduled to be screened on Wednesday 9th November at 9pm.

The programme will feature the home of Mark Veysey from Exmouth in Devon
who
after consultation with iLight's David Kerr decided on a variety of
lighting
control effects as well as the integration of his home cinema system.

Two colour Touch screens, one in the entrance hall (atrium) of the house
and
one in the living room upstairs allow for total control from each level.
Each Touch screen has a floor plan on the screen and can operate lighting
controls throughout the house.
On entering the house there is a preset welcome scene to greet the
occupants
and on leaving the house another preset scene is activated.

There is also a programmable timeclock controller which can set different
scenes for different times of the day, that Mark Veysey himself has
programmed.

A separate control panel is located in each room with 4 lighting scenes
pre-programmed to control the lighting levels dependant on what the
occupier
so wishes at the time. Whilst the lounge also has the benefit of infra red
remote control lighting which can also operate all the upstairs lighting.

The bedroom has panic buttons for security which when touched illuminate
the
whole house and outside to 100% brightness............ "
