RE: Email on the move (PDAs)
That's useful to know, but blows my strategy!
I'm not really an email techy, but on the basis that we're on Exchange 5.5,
and don't have a local VPN Concentrator it sounds like we can't really get
the Mobile Outlook integration easily.
We're looking to deploy 50 odd of these, mostly to field engineers, so the
devices need to be reasonably robust.

Its always a tricky one with hardware, people experiences seem to differ
greatly. The keyboard is indeed very nice and surprisingly usable. The
slide
action does work loose though with time, I believe Mark McCall has had the
same issue with his.
All I can say is that we have 14 of the 's' version and they are all being
returned to O2 to be replaced with the 'i'. We do run some bespoke software
on the devise written for us so who knows that may have caused the issue
with the flakey VPN client. However, neither O2 or GE (Who wrote our
software) were able to fix the problem. Could I guess also have been a
batch
issue, as they all came together.
Oh, and they also can loose all their settings (Like a hard reset) if the
battery comes off, even for just seconds. Its random, but very annoying!
We've not seen the same problem on the II or Iii and we have LOTS of them!
Many thanks,
Rob
