Anyone know of a source for copies of TV programs in a downloadable format
?
In an ideal world I'd hook up a PC & video capture card or buy a Tivo,
however I don't have that luxury at the moment.
Ideally I'd like to collect the complete Hitchhikers TV series and burn to
DVD to replace my very old VHS copy from all those years ago.
I tried to Google, but got so many results and the first 20-30 had nothing
of interest, then I gave up.
I've seen posts about people sharing their Tivo recordings but not taken
that much notice as I'm not a Tivo owner. Are these files purely Tivo only
or can they be converted to a DVD format ? If so, is anyone Tivoing (is
this
the correct terminology ?) the BBC2 series and would be prepared to share
their files ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
