As an addition to this thread...
Other kit in my "cleaning" arsenal includes...
1) A lens cleaning brush with little squeezy airpump.
2) A large *VERY* soft natural hair artists brush.
3) A 10kg bale of lint free cloths (or what's left of a 10kg bale - can't
remember where I got them but very useful and I must find another).
4) A 1.5hp/50litre compressor (with oil/water separator).
And if you think the last item is a bit OTT then think again ... For a
while
I've been thinking that my big Sony VAIO lappy has been noisier than I
remembered it being. Powered it off this afternoon, took it outside and
gave
the various vents a good blow through with the compressor (trying to avoid
excessive whizzing of fans as much as possible) and the thing is now not
only pretty much silent but is running *FAR* cooler!
