YEs you're right its a format issue.  I have mine formatted as Mac OSX
Extended.  I then use MacDrive on the pc so it can see the drive.  I
couldnt format FAT 32 as I only have XP and i dont think that will let
you.  Best way is therefore to use the mac to format as above and
install macdrive on any pcs you want to use it on!
