If you visit www.diyha.co.uk/download/mon_test.zip you will find a handy
little utility that generates various monitor test patterns and solid
screens. It originally came from Nokia but it doesnt seem to be easily
available now.

Very useful but use is at your own risk etc....
( I have never had any problems with it when I have used it)
