I was talking with this guy at length last night; he relisted, but took off
the 'no import duty' deal; since then he's amended the listing to say that
for $50, he will cover ALL fees, so basically what you pay via PayPal is
it,
there should be nothing else.  As others have said, this is easy enough to
do, all UPS have to do is get the fees from someone, they don't care
whether
it's a UK or US bod.

Anyway, I've gone for it, so I'll keep you all posted!  I've told him that
others will be watching this with interest...

Yes, I can see he's an eBay shop. If he pays the import duty and VAT that
really is impressive - that's another 25% of the price at least on top of
that.

Just seems too perfect really. I'm assuming then he completes a special
declaration that says "hit me with all UK charges". And would
HM&CE start
chasing a non-UK citizen for payment ?
