Yes, technically impressive I suppose. My first question would be - do
they keep the logs of which numberplates they saw and when (even the
ones they have no "legitimate" interest in)? If so for how long,
who has
access, etc etc.

Of course, all it would take is a reasonable number of people filing DPA
requests to see what info they have stored for cars they own, to bring
the whole system to a grinding halt, no doubt...
