I'm using the Linksys NSLU2 and it seems to be working well with my
Sonos kit. Very cheap 50 quid(ish) and does the job. There is also a
good community around it that have hacked it to bits and ported loads
of extra functionality if required. (it's a little linux pc that
supports USB drives). I put a couple of large drives behind it and it
backs up one drive to the other every night. Very similar to the Sonos
kit, I just plugged it in and it worked. Kit these days is no fun!!!
