Hi Paul

I thought all drives could read dual layer media - both consumer DVD
players
and Rom/RW drives. I've got a dual layer recordable drive, but non of the
dual layer "copies" play in other drives even though the
originals are fine.
I'm assuming it's either a media thing or the burn process that is creating
the problems. I'm fairly new to this as I only got my first recordable
drive
a few weeks back! Has anyone else successfully made dual layer recordings
that play in consumer DVD players?

Neil B.

I'm surprised you got the dual layer disks to play at all in ANY single
layer DVD drive - they're not designed to be backward compatible AFAIK.

Paul.
