If you want to have a bash with a free, but quite powerful, PIC programming
language, then have a look at the JAL Ethernet project
(http://jalethernet.sourceforge.net/),
you should quite easily be able to
modify a netp.jal to the required pins on the modtronix board. I did get
the
board details when I first looked at it and it did seem possible, just
never
ordered a board - SWMBO controls the budget and HA comes lower than
decorating over all the fresh (and no so fresh) plaster where I've put cat5
and new ring / lighting cables :(
I did start having a bit of a look at a simple xAP routine, but (like most
of my projects) ran out of time, it's still on the breadboard lashed to an
NE2000, just waiting for time.
