Re: Forget the webbrick

Ake - I have to second MarkH's view as I just found that you and
MarkM of Total Telematics have previously worked together and are
indeed now currently working together again on VSCP and the SBC Ethernet
board.
Now I believe that VSCP is not a commercial product and hence you
are not commercially involved - is that right ? But always best to make
such things clear and I feel knocking a competitive product in such a
position is not the done thing. I hope that whenever I make posts I'm
as impartial as possible (I try) even though it's well known I'm a great
xAP advocate. I don't think there was any intent in the message
subject - just an 'off the cuff' eyecatcher.

I do hope someone writes up a good review of the Web Brick as I
really would like to understand a little bit more about how it all
works, I had a call tonight from someone raving about its pedigree so
keen to know more and understand the state modelling etc better. I'm
really enthused by the opportunities all these networked 'HA building
blocks' are now starting to offer and at reasonable prices at last .

Kevin

PS BTW I have no commercial interest in xAP Netiom .. just hoping they
sell a few for the work they put in adding the code for the UKHA'ers.
