A mate sent me a link to this.

http://www.synology.com/enu/products/diskstation/index.php?page=ds-101&c
ontent=overview&current_sub_link=1
It includes a single IDE drive bay, 2 USB ports for ext USB drives and a
USB port / print server for a network printer.

Tom's Networking reviewed it here:
http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/Reviews-190-ProdID-DS101.php

UK prices here:
Komplett www.komplett.co.uk/k/k.asp
Miniland www.miniland-tech.co.uk

It looks pretty good, and a hassle-free way of setting up a NAS system.
Ok, so the installed capacity appears to be limited to 1.2 TB (3x 400GB
drives) but it still seems nice all the same, particularly for smaller
systems. And you could always add another if you run short of disk
space, or if your name is Phil "Bargain" Harris ;-))

Any idea if it's Xbox compatible ? (i.e. SMB shares ?) I guess it is
since it supports Windows, but any other ideas ?

No connections etc. the product just looked interesting.

Cheers,

Tim H.
