But sadly there's On-topic stuff getting tagged with [OT] that you
miss if you filter.

If this was forum based then thread can just be moved by a mod.

(And before anyone pipes up that the subject line can be changed in
email - when you do that you don't then receive all the original
messages before the subject line change).

There's so many good reason for moving to a forum-based community -
not least of which is that it'll be 'google-able'.
