I've not tried his PC at my house so maybe that is an option, but he
doesn't run MCE, although i'm sure it's worth trying with his called id
software on his machine at my house.

I have tried mine on both my lines and same issue.

Also seen Phil's post that DAC's wouldn't be installed as i'm on ADSL
on one of the lines. That shoots that idea out the window.

It's a very strange problem, and very frustrating.

Could there be any issue with connecting to a secondary extension
rather than direct to the primary BT box ?
That might be worth trying as well as i can get a test lead to it quite
easily.

In the words of the Philips adverts : Technology should be easy ;)
