EAC and Monkey's

I know that atleast one of you out there is using EAC and Monkey's for MP3
creation...

EAC - V0.95 beta 2 (including CDRAO package)
Monkey's - 3.99 (29th April 2004)
W2K and XP

I seem to be running up against a wall and can't decide if this is "by
design" or I'm just missing something....

If I use EAC + LAME then I can insert a CD click on the EAC CD->MP3
button and it will happily go through the whole CD and launch LAME each
time the EAC extraction has completed per track. .. Hooray .. all is good
in the World.
However
If I use Monkey's as the external compression then Monkey's launches and
waits until I click on the compress icon and it does this after each track.

I'm assuming that their must be a setting in either EAC or Monkey's that
will allow me to have the same functionality as when using LAME

Could someone point me in the right direction - web site or "how to do
it" guide  (ooo-err)
