LOL. Not sparrows farts but house martins that live in the eaves of the
barn. And they are NOISY B******S. The latest trick is that if you leave
the
velux windows open (I.e. the opening pane flatter than their usual slope
with the roof) the house martins use it as a little meeting venue around
4am. Would be fine if they would only were feckin slippers or cut their
nails!
(Do birds have nails.....? Oh, whatever! ;-))

Oh yes - I can vouch for the light-blocking ability of Robs Velux blinds.

First time I stayed over there I was awake at the sparrows fart because of
the searchlight directly in my face - second time (once thay'd been fitted)
I think it was almost 11 when I surfaced because I kept waking up and
thinking it was still nighttime!
