Well. If you are a real penguin head yeah - I tried (and failed) to get
ZM working at all.

It's one of those great projects where you can see a lot of potential,
but the documentation is just soooooo far beyond the intended audience
that it's downright scary. You start following the install HOWTO, only
to find there's a bunch of dependencies not actually mentioned in the
howto...

It's also really unclear whether you can run zoneminder headless as a
CCTV "server" or whether it needs to run as an active process in
an
X-session.

I'd love to be reporting how great it was - it certainly *looks* nice on
the website, alas, that aint happening!
