Re: Troubleshooting X10 interference
Right, before we start, I'm not an X10 expert.
But, hopefully can lend a hand.
Can you provide a little more info on a few things.
You have 40 LD11 controlling the house lights. Are all 40 suffering the
same problems? Is it just the lights in one area of the house, one
groups of LD11's or on one common wiring circuit or run?
Can you identify a point in time when all this happened? Was it linked
to any kind of system change, no matter how small?
Does the same light always have the same fault, i.e. always dim, always
turns on / off, or can each failing light switch fail in both ways?
Does anything in the house switch on or off at the time of the fault,
e.g. kettle, electric oven on etc?
Have you had any lightning storms, power surges or blackouts recently?
The answers to some of those questions may help to narrow things down a
bit.
