I guess a lot of this can be controlled through HomeVision.

I've done a lot of diving in the past too - the two hobbies, like you say,
don't often go together I would have thought. However, I plan to be as
ecologically sound wherever possible although this can be difficult to
know.

Paul.

Paul

I believe you need the following:

Temperature Control
Out of band SMS alerting (for temperatures)
For marine fish this is critical. Obviously this depends on the
size of the tank for thermal lag, but getting home to sort stuff
out may save a minor tragedy

Oxygenation control - and monitoring
This is important but takes longer to have an effect

Acidity and clarity checking - a manual process

Webcam - gives you peace of mind

My younger brother used to be into this stuff. Myself I love
diving so I like to see the fish in their natural environment.

Regards

Andy

Tropical Marine fish/reefs fancy giving me some advice on purchasing a
complete setup? I have asked on specialist forums but it's nice to
talk with someone you know :)
