I've got a DESlock DESkey ( www.deslock.com ) that I'm about to try out.
Seems to keep the keys on a small USB key ring thingy and allow encryption
of files, folders and Outlook messages.

Hi

I was curious to hear some feedback on the best way of keeping your data
safe on your PC, ( WIN_ XP).
I recently got a digital ID from verisign to try and used that to encrypt
some files and sign some emails.

But Microsoft requeries the keys and ceritficates to be held on the pc, i
dont like that idea. I would like to be able to keep these on a USB flash
stick or SD card that i know is always safe and can be removed when not in
use.

Anyone any good ideas of how to acheive this kind of security ? OR any
better solutions ?

Thanks
