Poke around online, and the AV pack schematics are all available. It's
jus=
t a matter of mounting a panel mount jack in the back and wiring to the
cor=
rect places on the AV Plug. And jump the right pins to turn those output
o=
n...

I put composite, Left & right, SVideo, and digital out jacks on the
back on=
one of my xboxes...

You'll probably want an advanced AV cable.

As supplied I think its composite + Stereo Phono only. I have a cable that
=
will do RGB or S-Video and give a digital out (coax or optical). I bought
m=
ine from lik-sang.com - though there a few different ones available on the
=
high street now - including as ever the over-priced MS version.

As regards chips I think any will meet your need - I did mine a year ago
an=
d have an Executer 2.3 from www.baldbouncer.co.uk Personally I'd recommend
=
a solder version but others may vary.

Having been told about the virtues of XBMC I'm considering entering into =
the
world of the Xbox.

So a couple of questions...

Does it matter if I get a black or clear model?

Where is the best place to purchase? Most High Street stores seem to be a=
t
the =A399 mark.

I know I'll need the DVD controller for the XBMC, but will I need anythin=
g
else?

And as I don't want to play games which Mod Chip will be the best route?
