So what information do you really require for support ?
Do you have a W2K / W2K3 AD Forest ? - in which case you could aqdd all the
info to the computer account
What about a bit of scripting on either power-on or login could create a
text file containing a shedload of info - e.g. IP address, mac address,
Windir,temp/tmp settings etc. You could easily add this (and a shortcut)
for
the users.
