Hi tim,
Its been a while since I've dabbled with a pc, it could be an irq
conflict - have a look in event viewer and control panel to see if
there's anything odd.
Then again, I could be totally wrong!

PC all built. A bit noisy, but I am working on that. tested, and
installed
under the telly - SWMBO now quiet - you might think time for some R&R
after
my labours, but the sodding thing now won't play back audio without
stuttering. It cant even play teh XP tada or shutdown without
hiccuping.
CPU running at 12%, HDD benchmarks at 50Mb/s sustained, but no audio
playback.
Anyone want to buy a Media PC, I might go back to VHS
Any ideas?
