Frank,

I think it's regular IR, I don't know what specific frequency though but
my guess would be 38 khz. I have a Panasonic Sky box but AIUI all the
Sky boxes use the same codes anyway (so there is only one Sky remote for
all boxes). Sky+ codes are different to plain Sky, but even then I don't
think it's IrDA.
