Don't forget that kingspan/celotex varieties of insulation board can (and
have been...see my loft) be retro-fitted.
One good thing about the foil faced varieties of board is that they provide
a very stable insulation barrier.. ie in winter they hold the cold out and
in summer they hold the warmth out.
I think my loft may be a little too well insulated as sometimes when I work
up here I have to pull on a jumper even if it's nice and warm outside
Although with building 4 servers on at the moment ... it's actually warmer
than the rest of the house
