Monitoring must be good - 'was quite impressed by David C's recent
example !

Suspect people would be less keen on down-lighters if they
monitored !   OTOH, with electric heating, and a well sealed &
insulated house, maybe they are not so bad.   I did the sums once,
and concluded that going for lots of old-fashioned incandescent
'bulbs could be good, because 'could then save the capital & running
costs of a heating system !   That was before Euro' harmonisation, of
course !
