Hi Dan,

LEM, www.lem.com, do a range of clamp on sensors but nothing with a
direct connection to a PC etc.

You would need to use something like a PIC based board with ADC and some
software to stream the current readings to your PC. Quite trivial if you
are familiar with interfacing and writing your own code.

If I remember correctly, the split type are what you want and are about
£80 each. Can't recall the model number but you can email them for
information. Just ask for SPLIT TYPE transducer with DC output giving
instantaneous current (watch out, some types give an AC type signal out
and what you want is a direct DC output voltage which you can scale and
read as amps)

This is what I was planning on building until I moved overseas!!
