RE: [OT] Navigation....

Also rated the best on test on last nights 5th Gear on CH5 by Jon Bentley.
This was between TomTom Go 300, Navman ICN520, Garmin i3, and some other
thing I'd never heard of before or since...

AFAICT the TomTom One *is* the Go 300 after a serious diet!....

I believe the tomtom one is the newer model (than the 300)

Hi all,

I seem to remember this being discussed, but a quick archive search
hasn't been too successful...

My wife wants an in-car navigation thing for xmas (no jokes please!),
and i'm trying to make sure I get the right one.

I think the TomTom One has what she needs in terms of features - I
believe it does the usual mapping/route guidance, plus can have speed
camera locations added (?) (a must for me!), but i'm unclear if the
TomTom 300 is better, and if so how. Also does anyone have a view on
other options?

Thanks,

Keith
