RE: [OT] Measuring carpet...

Can't answer your question Andy, but I just hope it wasn't Carpetright that
did this... - if so, you will discover that they don't actually employ
their fitters and will disavow themselves of any responsibility whatsoever
for the quality of the work they do, or any damage they cause to your
property whilst doing it... - If you are considering seeking recompense for
the damage to your pressure mats, Carpetright (Crappetright in my books!)
will just tell you to take it up with the fitter personally...

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] Measuring carpet...

Hi,

Apologies for the OT post...

If there's anyone on this list who knows the ins and outs of how to
calculate the required amount of carpet given the actual size of the
room/stairs can they please contact me offlist. Think I've been had (i.e.
given twice as much carpet than I actually need) and want to make sure
before I start shouting the odds.

And, to make matters SOO much worse, the fitter has managed to stick
staples
through the 4 pressure mats that I had fitted on the stairs last night and
pulled the wiring on 3 of them...!!!

Thanks,
Andy.
