KeyRack Project

Hi Guys
Just thought i would mention a little project im about to start
as some might be interested..
Another Homevision User has recently been been toying with putting a
KeyRack system together based on Shawn Boyles (another Homevision User)
project...
http://www.automatedhome.co.uk/article463.html
Currently he,s bench testing some hardware which is going to make up the
keyrack system...
The Keyrack unit will be one on my Probe Zone Monitor Boards which will
relay key status back to one of my HV I/O Expanders......Im hoping to get
Custom Enclosures made for the Keyrack in white Acrylic and hoping Mark G
will do a review once the project is finished........

Im also hoping to use the Keyrack in my own installation but have the
Keyrack connected to my Probe system instead of a HV I/O Expander......What
im hoping to be able to do is to insert a dallas temp sensor in each of the
Keyfobs ( 3.5mm plug) then i can identify whos keys are inserted
/removed;-) by reading the dallas Sensor id only....One of the key inputs
will be used to ignore/bypass any key changes for a duration which will
allow users to leave and return say to nip down to the shops.....

More Soon
Frank
