RE: XBMC Help?
First thing I would do is reset the XBMC settings by deleting the
e:\Tdata\0face007 and e:\Udata\0face007 folder.
If that doesn't work, I would start over...
Delete the XBMC folder.
Delete the e:\Tdata\0face007 and e:\Udata\0face007 folder.
Download XboxMediaCenter (XBMC) 2005-12-05 CVS T3CH build from xbins
Extract it.
Upload it to the folder of your choice.
Go through the .xml config file and make sure that all the options are
set to the correct paths... Thumbnails, bookmarks, media folders, etc...
Then access the ISO over SMB...
Sound like something is missing in your XBMC install, or you don't have
the correct codecs...

What version of XBMC are you using ? where was the download from? How
did you put the software on?
I presume, looking at the below - I presume you're using the 6th of dec
edition of xbmc?
Try putting the video file on the hard disk.

Following my dead showcenter saga the other day, our illustrious leader
pointed out that the xbox makes a fine media player.
Having a few teething problems with it and hoping some of you gurus can
help.
Piccies are fine, but video is a no no.
I've checked out the XBMC forums and there's nothing there of any use.
I am running "XBMC Clean" whatever that is.

So basically, it's given up the ghost. I have no idea why it is looking
for all these other files.
This was a DVD rip using AutoGK that works fine on the PC and did on the
showcenter.
Have tried various other ripped or "acquired" videos with much
the same
result.
They are all xvid/AC3
Any help much appreciated
