Pipex ADSL upgrades

I'm sure I read on the list recently that someone had wangled a free
upgrade on Pipex ADSL from 1MB to 2MB.

If that person is around could they tell me how they went about it and
what their circumstances were, off-list if necessary.

I currently have a 1MB connection and have been with Pipex for 6 months.
